I shall wake up after (hopefully) a good night's sleep. I shall make my usual coffee, Brazillian bold, and have my usual pipe. I think on Tuesday, I will smoke some English type tobacco. I shall putter about the house, pay some bills, do some "clutter control," practice my set list for Thursday night. Later in the day, I will go to work where, I hope/expect there will be buildings and not a crater. But I do not work for the Fed.

As for the folks down the road (in DC), that is anyone's guess. If the Republican dream has come true, government will have vanished from the face of the Earth. And the former public employees will be staggering, zombie-like through the streets, looking for unemployment offices that no longer exist and food stamp distribution centers which also no longer exist.

I truly do not expect the debt ceiling to be raised, if that is what you asked.
