Don't need ta move. Job, house, plenty of music and artsy fartsy stuff if I drive a little or take the fairly good public transportation. Few earthquakes, hurricanes, or tornadoes of much consequence. Winters are not that bad. Cost of living is not low. But once you're in the economy, it is tolerable. Lotsa nature within a short travel. Why would I leave? Unless some huge life issue compels me, I plan to retire here.
