you can tune your fiddle with an ipod touch!(free app called tuner). You can have sheet music for thousands of tunes with the tunebook app. I also use it to do email, read the news, read books, look at maps (1:50000 for whole of Yorkshire £9.99), record tunes for learning, check train times or what's on telly, keep notes, to-do list and calendar, etc,etc,etc.
