Kat, my dogs usually run to the door when it opens because there is a good chance they'll get some food. Dog treats, a little something trimmed off of a steak or piece of chicken or salmon skin, something tasty. For every time they get a snack, they probably come to the door a dozen times.

At 8:30pm it's still over 100o. The dogs are in the house until it's at least in the 90s, and still may end up in for the night.

I removed some of the stuff from my dining table tonight, including finally tossing out the box of large shards from antique plates and platters that broke when they were moved years ago. The trunk was opened earlier this year and I took out the set. Many are crazed, but maybe people are looking for plates to fill a set. I'll probably list them on eBay.

I also put some flat baskets in the sunroom cupboard where I've been storing crystal. They look lovely propped on the shelves. I need to clear the rest of the dining room table so I can have a family dinner before my son returns to school in a couple of weeks.

How's it looking in your yard, Andrea? Are the stone masons returning soon? Has anything happened while you have waited for the rock portion of the project?
