Both this one and the Scarsdale diet have a two-week introduction, then a shifting in the food choices to allow in more variety. Scarsdale has always been a struggle to stay with, this one doesn't look like that is a problem.

During the two weeks I'll be adjusting to lower carbs but I'll also be doing more reading and research. The Atkins recommendation is for a healthier form of eating that reduces the sugar in particular and the white flour substantially. If you lose weight on it that is coincidental, you're not cutting calories as much as you are getting rid of the things that your body latches onto more readily and saves as fat. I love the fruits and veggies allowed on this diet, so it won't be just eating meats and cheese all of the time.

I am going through photos of my boss from the last 15 years, plus older photos I've been given. They're for the reception we'll have at the end of the month - he's going back to teaching from being Dean of the Library. I'm pulling out all of the shots I can find where he is with individual or small groups of library staff members - I think they'll enjoy seeing themselves in these photos along with him. It'll probably be a program playing in the background somewhere in the room. I'm pulling the photos, someone else is arranging them, but I'll suggest the cluster the staff photos for people.
