SOunds as though Atkins has changed since the early 90s when I tried it. Good luck with it. I am sure you will be successful.

Sinsdarlin'...I know what you mean about getting to exercise consistently. The main and, maybe only, reason I do is because of the near-fatal scare this year. It is difficult, some days. I just don't want to go. Today, I almost started crying when I was doing one of the exercises...it hurt, I was discouraged, but I made it through. Those days I call on my "Blessed Beings" to help me and I give thanks when it seems to ease up a bit. With me, it's a matter of not wanting to move the bulk because there is so much of it, BUT IF I move it, it will improve. Catch-22. I know you know this, but maybe it helps to read about someone else feeling alike. AND< this time of year with high heat and/or humidity is NOT conducive to a positive state of mind for exercise, imo!!

Took Luna-toona to M's swimming class, today. BIG mistake. She was SO excited she tried to run right to the kids and water. Morgan skinned up his knees a tiny bit catching her on the cement. I spent the rest of the time with a tight hold on here. She actually barked! Now that we know this, we'll take her to the dog park where there is a pond. We'll probably buy a little kiddie pool for the yard, too. She is coming better here at home.

Exercise for an hour this morning. Worked on my someday-son-in-law-to-be's resume and sent M home at 4p. Rog was late getting home, so we're just sitting down to supper.
