I have cleared off my drafting table completely, sorted out lots of extra pens and pencils and gave them away on freecycle, removed some of the stuff that was stacked at the back of the table and sorted it.

A friend of mine gave me an old oak flat file that had been her father's. Now I can store art paper, small canvases and small paintings in those files. It is really helping a lot with organizing and safe storage.

The small wooden box of drawers on top of the oak files is a vintage resistor storage cabinet. It is very handy for exacto blades, pen nibs and other small things. It was my mother's.
