Went to the country to day: lunch and made a pot of green tea to counteract the barometric pressure, then worked for a couple hours. The pots I made Sunday were not dry enough to trim so I threw some bowl and made handles for mugs thrown yesterday but still not dry enough. Too humid. It felt like impending rain ---Sorry those who are drought ridden!    I really did try to repair kiln but do not have the knack. The "cement" did not hold bits in place, even after I used packing tape. I'll check tomorrow to see if anything held. May need more advice.

So I worked on computer, read, had a good supper of broccoli and fish, and then had to add two small pieces of bread and peanut butter ---- and some choc. Then the rain started. I did some good in-house organizing until it was time to leave -7:15 as the bridge opens northbound at 7:45. Traffic was slower; took an extra 20 minutes to cross the bridge. But R was not home anyway - still in not.

It has rained steadily all evening. News reports flooding on one highway - built below ground forming a "canal" and floods in every heavy storm - Engineers????

Figure if I make enough pots to pay the gas, it is ok to commute. Of course, I need to figure out how to sell them... Hoping this will happen or I'll have an awful lot of pots!!

The green tea does seem to help me cope with hot weather - over 75! I have never coped with hotter than that.

Guess I'll go to bed.
