Many years ago I worked as a store detective in Woolworths, Lincoln UK.. the funniest shop lifter we had was a dog which came in frequently, front paws up on the sweet counter and took a mouthful of always the same sweets. I followed it home and spoke with the owner who could not understand where his dog was getting his favourite mint humbugs from.... Never saw the dog in the shop again though... No action was taken....
