Moon shining in the cafe window! Cooler and lovely today! I enjoy watching the beautiful St. Lawrence River as I cross over on the big bridge, sparkling in the sunshine. It is several hundred yards wide with tree lined shores on each side - even though behind those trees are buildings, the city.

Started the kiln firing today in spite of incomplete repairs. Hope it works OK but only the bisque firing so it should not be disastrous. Some of the cement held, some did not???? Try again another day.

R still working 12-14 hour days. Did not make it to cafe again tonight. I'll go back to the cabin to check kiln - hope it is finished! Then to city.

This morning, weeded, laundry, library, Dollar store for reading glasses - the ones I took off last night disappeared! Tomatoes have only come a handful at a time but another week or so should see a bunch ripen - white, black, red zebra, yellow, orange and even a few red cherry. R seems to like them all. So does some critter so I have to be quick!
