On Friday I bought a stripy top from Oxfam and turned it into a tote bag with a small bag to keep it in, which I took back to the shop for them to resell. On Saturday, I bought a small corduroy skirt which will become a handbag. I sew across a distance from the top, and fold up the bottom inside to make pockets, then provide a handle. I made myself one some time ago, which the ladies in Oxfam admired, so this one is going back to them.

Yesterday I found the frog in the garden, which was good, as I wasn't sure if it had survived the winter. I have two toads which hang around near the tomatoes - still had slug damage on one of the beefsteak frutis, though.
