My toads don't eat my snails. Ducks would, though, if I wanted to start wrangling ducks.

It's incredibly humid here, dense moist air that causes me to move in slow-motion, swimming through chores. I changed the filters in the AC units and have to run some errands later. Trying to get those grains into my diet that aren't high-glycemic index offenders. Whole grain pastas, breads, etc. I can feel the absence of grains - the roughage factor if nothing else. Some I'll buy, some I'll find recipes for.

Good thing I did laundry on Friday, it has been too wet this weekend for them to dry on the line. I'm hearing a request go out on local media that some power companies are offering rebates if people will shift their higher power usage to evenings and weekends. Just like the phone company! :)
