Good idea SRS. I've been seeing versions of that sort of thing on shopping channels and thinking I wanted one, but not at those prices!

Today, I planted out bulbs which I had saved from various places, and potted up my cuttings of heritage plants, fuchsia, jasmine, choisia and the Albertine rose from my grandparents' home. I dug up some of one of the mints and put that in a pot so I can clear the herb bed. This, after going on the walk this morning, has left me a bit tired. On the walk, the woman registering who was there commented on my name, and said that I wouldn't be the one she remembered - but I was! She went to the same school I did, overlapping with me for a short while. I'm afraid I didn't remember her, but we did know a number of the same people, and she could settle my mind on a rumour I heard about the Head's wife.

Better than the woman I met at the village office who went to the next school I went to, who said "Oh yes, I remember YOU", and has left me thinking just what on earth it was she remembers me for. I never did nothing, no how.
