I've just come across this thread. I got to know Packie well when he lived in Manchester and then in London. What a wonderful man! I'm so pleased to hear that he enjoyed his "folk" days. I still think that his Topic LP "Songs of a Donegal Man" was one of the best and most important things that I ever worked on.
