not having been on much lately, I missed the early days of this thread...it seems we have, once again,the same old issue( or rather three or four issues all bound together- issues of taste, of appropriateness, of politeness,and of definition).

1) It is obvious that no one can tell ANYONE what to 'like' (you like Rembrandt, or Andy Warhol??)

2) the management (Max) has said that HE is open to a wide variety of music. (wider than I would like, but it IS his place)

3)no one is ever going to stop people from disagreeing over definitions..(perhaps that disagreement, genteely conducted, can help us understand each other)

4)there seem to a number of votes in favor of politeness, but not too many in favor of Loreena..*shrug*
