Decluttering my house into Kendall's. With Jacqui gone, we decided it was a good time for Kendall to take possession on my old wind up Victrola - the full sized monster. He loves it (as do I). But I am bound and determined to pare down to bare necessities and a few treasures. The rest is OUT. Have to sort thru my Christmas stuff and share it around the younger family members by Thanksgiving.
I spent two hours on the phone with a cousin on Saturday catching up on her life, family, etc. She is an amazing young woman. Has two children with CF; one also has Crohn's and now diabetes. Make A Wish sent the little girl to Ireland and the boy to Hawaii to see Pearl Harbor. Their prognosis is not good. At any given time one or the other is in the hospital. The third girl suffers emotionally mostly from guilt at her good health. And Dad left (at the family's insistence). Still Meg just goes on full of plans and excitement at her kid's accomplishments. Putting herself thru school as well in the medical field.
