April August is the cruelest month this year. Hot as Hell, busy for me, and expensive kid-wise. The trip to Tucson, the gear still needed for school (a lot was purchased last year, but there is always something new, and the textbook price makes you gasp), and the older one got new glasses.

Laundry is hanging on the line out back, and I put away the leftovers from a faux-kung pao chicken. I didn't have all of the ingredients they use at Panda Express, where I usually eat it, so I cubed an eggplant into it. Pretty good. Moonglow was here for lunch then headed back to her house and school. I did a little dog first aid - Cinnamon had scraped a back toe so I used peroxide then some vet ointment. (The vet says he uses it on himself sometimes, it's very good.) I've been moving the hose with the diffuser end under various trees (it has a flexible stake to push into the soil and is meant distribute water without spraying. It isn't a sprinkler.)

This screen sat unfinished for a while so now the laundry is back in. Doesn't take long in this heat.

I need to pick up around here now.
