It's quite an education to learn about your family that way, Betty. It's more or less how I met many relatives, through their stuff, when some of my great aunts passed away.

On a much more modest scale, this afternoon I took a couple of frozen lasagna casseroles (in foil in glass baking dishes) out of the freezer, popped them out of the glass and wrapped them up tightly in plastic and they're awaiting a meal later this fall. I'll make a few more before this summer is finished. It's so delightful to put that hefty block of home-grown-homemade casserole away for later. I'll slip a couple of pieces of paper under the plastic to note when they were made and the ingredients.

We might get some rain this evening. There is a storm blowing through the region, though it looks like it'll pass south of me a bit. Humidity and no relief? We shall see.
