Our trio spent most of the week playing in the little room in the station and had a great time. I popped into the ship
(two great sessions at once),the Black Horse(nice singing) The Elsinore(some good tunes) and several other pubs as well. The problem was never one of not feeling part of it, but being unable to get a seat to sit down and play or sing.
For my two friends I think one of their highlights was the incomparable Jim Eldon.
I like the mix of the official festival and the fringe and the interaction between the two. The young Un's,Edwina Hayes,Paul Button, Ray Hearne all passed through the station while we were there.
