I also missed the Mudgather as I went up to Whitby on the 21st. so missed the post by Les. Was looking forward to putting some more faces to names, thought it might be posted in the Wailer, but didn't see a copy all week!
I attended mostly fringe music sessions and must say was made to feel very welcome at both Enlish and Irish sessions. Fantastic week. The only thing I found strange was I saw not one dance display on the streets. Other years I've been (not been for quite a few years) I'd be falling over morris teams dancing for the public but this year although I spent a lot of time walking around the town, I saw none? Was I just in the wrong place at the wrong time?
What can one say about the Elsinore evening sessions, wall to wall sound, go with the flow or go to another session, suits some people and not others.
