We have 'one' shakeable flashlight, but mostly LED lights which use less power... and a couple of those like Jon mentions....and several older type.....and candles....

And when power loss threatens, freezing ice in larger, slow-melting chunks that you can put in an ice chest to keep important stuff cool....(I have a bunch to empty now)
