I was working for a drywall wholesaler--that also supplied drywall tools--in Calgary many years back (late '70s) when Makita came into the North American market. AWESOME. One of the demonstrations I did in sales was ask a prospective buyer to throw the drill at the brick wall. They would and then we'd try out the drill. Worked every time. They ain't the TOP top of the line, but they are one darned good working machine.
