I watched it and like you it left me wondering what it was all about.

I don't know if this was supposed to be the best of acoustic guitar playing that emanated from the rock scene but the performances were sadly lacking in excitement and entertainment.

Ok there were a couple of excellent technical peformances ( Roger McGinn and Pete Townshend ) but the rest of the show for me me was lack-lustre and patronising.

As for James Blunt, the thought of him flouncing into Croatia on a tank playing his guitar paints a strange picture of British forces' impact as a fighting force !!!
