Aw geez! Not the news I wanted to hear. I don't know if this is a Maine-only organization, but The Iris Network has been a huge help to my friend Kathy, who has also recently been declared legally blind. Everything from tech support for her computer to legal assistance so she can't lose her job. And I'm sure that even if they are Maine-only, they probably could help you find resources in NH.
