Well, what a great weekend. People tried gig-rowing (without getting wet), the local theatre put on Kimber's Men, brand new international standard triathalon, maritime party on board the Oldenburg, Red Petticoats (N.W.Morris), re-enacting the event that gave them their name (but they got VERY wet!)- and a whole lot more - and then great music and song round the harbour, on the Old Quay, in the Royal Britannia Hotel, and in the Lifeboat shed from Andy Barnes & Martin Babb, Pam 'n' Al, Paul Sirman, Monkeys Fist and Mrs.BB and me. More next year with a bit of luck - first full weekend of September. (with any luck they'll also have the website fully operational at www.seailfracombe.com). In the meantime, we're looking forward to Harwich!
