Well, I turned the house upside down last night and could not find a copy of "Chase the Buffalo."

I did find a number of lumbering songs that are variants of "Chase the Buffalo" - actually the lumbering songs may have come first. Check out "A Lumbering We Go" which is in the Digitrad collection. It doesn't have a chorus but there is another song called "Once More A-Lumbering Go" which does have a chorus and is very similar in format to "Chase the Buffalo." Since that one is not in Digitrad I post it in it's own thread.
