Perhaps, I speculate, those who were in the other room (which is I think as far as you can go on the ground floor of that pub from that which is usual for the singaround) felt that they might have been unwelcome in the singaround - which is above said to be largely for unaccompanied singers. They clearly state that there was not enough room for them in the singaround. I have in the past used the smoking area to play, as a matter of choice, but it could also have been used in a spirit of amiable co-operation if present.

I am not at all sure that offering to display true aggression is a really rational and constructive approach.

As far as I know the singaround although habitual is not a programmed item.
