That Ron Paul is the "Intellectual Godfather of the Tea Party" is not my phrase. I've heard a number of commentators refer to him as that. Including a couple of moderate Republicans. He's pretty well indicated that he's into Ayn Rand, as are a couple of other declared candidates from the Right.

And as far as the "bigot and racist blather" is concerned, I calls 'em like I sees 'em.
