I won't forget. Every year, I get emails and sometimes gifts by post from the people I brought home so they could have a shower and a hot home cooked meal (my neighbours were doing the cooking), especially those with children that I put up overnight. I brought home 14 at a time in my truck so they could shower and get a break away from their makeshift accomodations at the coliseum. Atlantic Canada airports landed a lot of planes in short order.

Everyone wanted to watch the TV but after the first bunch, I unplugged it and said it hadn't worked for years. Couldn't stand to watch their reactions... when kids, and adults, started crying...
