Planxty did indeed record a song called TRUE LOVE KNOWS NO SEASON on their album "The Woman I Loved So Well" (1980). It was attributed to Christy Moore.

There is a song by that title in the DT attributed to Norman Blake, but at this point, I don't know whether it's the same song or whether the attribution is correct.
