Aw Jaque.I dunno why I am not able to do sound yet, maybe someone can help. It's a 486 just back from repair, new sound card, 33.6K modem, and when I try to use the Real Player I downloaded for radio I get just static, the sound of the modem line it sounds like. I've plugged them lil puppies (speakers) into evey hole I can see back there, and get the static or dead air or nuffin'. Tellya the truth, I ain't tried HearMe yet, I figger it'll be bad too, but I will go there and see. Have not tried to add mic yet either. (Have one at work, I'll bring it home.)
Only had this about a week. My CD drive hatch also is bad, it's stuck shut, and I can't install software off CD! And I can't afford to take it back to the shop, cuz first, money, and second, be without even this much communication? Not me! Not when I am about to stop the job that has the GOOD computer!
I believe a review of HearMe policies also is in order, the question being whether this will be a regular session at a special time in the regular room, and thus the theme will need to flex to suit whoever shows up, to swap songs. That's a song circle. Or, whether it will be a concert with a determined theme, with one or more performers, in the concert room, which is what that one is there for. See Aine for clarification, but I think I have it right, in a nutshell.
It matters to me which it will be. Either is fine, but I want it clear so no one is overly stressed. Especially in an area with so much concern. OK? I say it's up to Jaque, he started this. Jaque, you really can just decide. It does not mean that whatever you decide will be the only such event that can happen. In fact, I'll organize a singalong later, in the concert room, with DT or forum-posted Christian music. Cuz that's what I DO. OK?
No fights now. Frankly I am not up to one more fight, slam, or flame at the moment. Don't even look at me cross-eyed. For a bit anyway.
