Ah, a recliner and a beer, and HEAT!! My stupid furnace decided to blow a week and a half ago, and we're still waiting on the new one. (I'm actually sitting by the heater at the computer, tosty and fine, but whining is so much fun.)

Now about this subway series. I WAS rooting for those Mariners, and am now torn. Do I root for the dreaded Yankees?? Absolutely NOT!! Do I root for the Mets, who did that dreadful thing to Boston back in 1986? Hmmmm, perhaps against the Yankees, I may. Well, I still have a little time to decide. In the mean time, a bit of beer, a littllle song, recliner, fuzzy slippers, and life is good.
