Brilliant weekend as always. And loads of lovely people, many of them friends now. Weird weather though!
Like Clive I was MCing so I mainly saw artists appearing in my events - but Strawhead, Wilsons, Pilgrims Way and the Jaywalkers were all brilliant. Others equally worthy of a mention were the Mrs Ackroyd Band, Troubadour, and Peter and Barbara Snape.
But The Hut People (Sam Pirt and Gary Hammond) made my weekend super fantastic - they are just something very special. I'm really looking forward to having them as my guests on Sounds of Folk in November.
So another great year - and a huge testiment to Alan Bell's 39th year of directing the Festival.
