Thread Name: BS: Ate my Frog
Subject: RE: BS: Ate my Frog ...
Dan, I had a froggy resident in a little wading pool I planted in my yard. A leopard frog moved in that day, and did well for about a year. One night, a raccoon grabbed hold of his back right foot, and Leopard pulled free, minus one foot.

When I found him the next morning he was in bad shape. I wrapped him in a damp towel with that ragged leg poking out one end of the roll, and his nose at the other. A friend held the frogroll steady so I could take a close look at the damage.

It took a sharp pair of scissors, a needle, and some effort, but I managed to trim the rsgged skin and stitch a flap of skin over ihs leg stump. Dang, frog skin is some tough!

That frog and his slightly altered foot arrangement continued visiting my little faux pond for another two years.
