Geoff Bodenham was one of the original resident singers at the Giffard Folk Club in Wolverhampton - 1962 onwards, where I was also a resident singer and committee member. He later formed 1812 with Derek Craft
Several years ago he ran a club out in the Shropshire countryside at the Lion O'Morfe. Became licensee of pub in Bridgnorth (the Bell and Talbot)which used to have music nights. I last met him a few years ago in B-north and he was fine - I should imagine long retired by now (aren't we all!) I believe he may have been a teacher at one time so the Russells Hall query could be correct.
