good thing I wasn't interested in joining - I don't have a mobile!

A few hours ago I was listening to my favourite techie on my local radio station talking about internet privacy, especially on social networks, mainly Facebook & Google+

He was outlining the problems with them, including lack of privacy, & how both insist users provide real name & can decide the name submitted isn't real (eg. some Hong Kong Chinese giving their a child European first name) & refuse the application, or suddenly decide to lock someone out of their account.
