Mary ... I'm absoulutly DELIGHTED to learn that there will be an emphisis on "non blue book" singing. It's sorely needed. Singing from the "heart", as you say, is what brings out the real folk music. And getting away from the dominate "round robin" pattern also allows more spontanaity. (sp?). Often a "Barbra Allen" will bring forth several more versions, or a good discussion of the ballad.

I really wish we could be there but I have to do a concert that day up North. I will be there in spirit tho. Are you coming to Rainy Camp this year? bob(deckman)nelson
