All those are cities I love also, Arthur: but I have never observed them to be significantly less polluted than London. And, as I said in a post a bit back, the pollution there is as nought to what it was in my memories of the place before I moved out 48 years ago, having spent the first 31 years of my life there without even realising that every building wasn't built originally of black stone ~ a misapprehension now remedied by the Clean Air Acts.
