What a superb gig this was last night in Hall 2. Sam mixed solo guitar/vocal songs with his "Judas bit", with very able double bass and drums, playing what was possibly a Gibson ES 225 for more raunchy rock stuff - not sure because it has 2 P-90 pickups.

The venue which is within 10 minutes walk of Kings Cross station is very nice indeed, set in a 3 year old building with lots of space.

Sam is a very accomplished guitarist playing at times in a style not unlike Nic Jones, but also adding his own tricks.

I would have like to see him play Canadeeio but he didn't unfortunately.
