Was playing my first pro job with a jazz trio, me on bass, 17 years old in the summer of '66. Dome Club in Wisconsin. The piano player turned me on to The Pair and we even tried "A Foggy Day" one night, in public, when the drummer didn't show up. Huge influence on me, even today.
