I know of the 'many voices of moderation', & it would be boorish not to be aware of them and grateful for them. But I feel that, just as good news doesn't sell papers, so 'voices of moderation' are not going to be those with most appeal to the more militant tendencies within Islamism; whose presence and activities are those most likely to produce the most cogent effects. I should like to be optimistic, and hope I don't come over as quite so hostile or pessimistic as Ake ~~
