People chomping on chewing gum and then spitting it out on pavements, where it's impossible to remove and makes horrid black sticky circles. (Even on the carpets of Buckingham Palace, kindly deposited by the visitors to the State Apartments apparently!!!) Singapore has very stringent penalties for this. I think they should be hung, drawn and quartered!
