Possum Kingdon is not a town, but is applied to a state park and a lake.

It's "Possum Kingdom." Most of the land around the lake burned last spring and again this summer.

Texas has some very unusual names. It's such a large state that once you get out of your region you can be really surprised by the names you come across.
