Thanks, Bubbly. Yes; and what's more I remember when tattoos were confined to sailors, as I think was the case when HM George V had served. They showed originally, I would hazard, a good while back, that the mariner had visited those far-flung parts of the S Pacific where tattoos were part of the local culture, administered by skilled craftsmen from among the indigens of such parts; & became part of naval tradition thence. But then tattoo parlours, using electric needles and modern technology, opened up in high streets where the particular sort of demographic you refer to resided, and they caught on as a sort of fashion statement among the would-be toughie-looking. To climax as of now in these revolting, IMO, one-arm displays of solidarity. Do you think there is any L-R/Straight-gay indicator involved as I suggest above, perhaps? Or any other significance in what arm is chosen?

I agree, mind, that a pretty little or whevs on a pretty little lady's bare buttock can have an agreeable effect!
