I started a thread a little while ago about the beautiful view I can see now over the top of my WP. In it I mentioned some other beautiful views I had seen ~~ The Grand Canyon & The Great Wall of China.

But [present company thru my window excepted] the beautiful view I best remember was from Delphi. Not the famous Oracle Valley, though that was indeed exquisite of course; but after we had seen it Valerie & I had lunch on the first floor of a taverna on the edge of the town, sitting in a window from which we could see mile after mile of olive groves stretching gently down and away into the distance. I can see that in my mind's eye 37 years later, if I have counted correctly.

What to compare can you see in your mind's eye?
