Maybe I can throw some light on this. We (Roots Records) originally had stock of Bare Bones (on Tony's own Boneshaker label) via Pete Coe when fundraising activities were going on before Tony's sad passing.
We eventually sold out and I had been looking to see if there was still stock around. I found that Helen English still had some, so ordered some. These are still the Boneshaker CDs, and we advertised them on our own website Bare Bones and on our Amazon shop.
Did the OP get their copy from us? Or was it from elsewhere? Either way, if you have a faulty copy, you should refer back to your supplier. I am not aware of there being any problem with them, so you may have a rogue copy,
