I was visiting my son over the weekend, so I'm slowly catching up with my hard disc (currently on Georgia v Argentina). Both games that Scotland lost, Dan Parks finished the game. While Parks has overcome his worst faults, eg falling to pieces after his first mistake, we can only speculate what would have happened if Ruairidh Jackson's hamstring hadn't gone. Incidentally, I also watched the Blues v Glasgow (yng Ngymraeg), and Jackson's understudy, Duncan Weir, was Man of the Match with a perfect kicking record. Edinburgh also have a promising young No 10 on their books in Gregor Hunter, so possibly Scotland will be overcoming the inability to score tries in the near future. As for Wilkinson, I think it's quite a few years now since he's been as good as his reputation.
