DNA can be corrupted on transportation or in anyone of many ways, thus it becomes useless as evidence, and thus a case can rise or fall, in this case the prosecution's case fell. It points strongly, I feel, that using the DNA samplings as the primary evidence, was a mistake. In these days of high tech, good old fashioned police work, goes by the boards.
