As far as hatred of tourists is concerned, London is miniscule by comparison with Berlin, which is currently one of the most popular capital city destinations in Europe.

There's a formal and concerted movement on the part of Berliners to make life uncomfortable for tourists - stealing cars, keying cars, insulting them, short-changing them, etc.
