I heard there are some ball games going on - is that what you're talking about? I don't follow sports at all, so it's lost on me. And this evening I was at a Friends of the Library meeting with a speaker who is a four-time All-Star player (with a couple of World Series wins, etc.) and not only had I not heard of him, I hadn't heard of most of the people he talked about. A few, certainly, the huge names. Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth, Yogi Bera. But I found it best to mostly acknowledge when someone address a sport remark that I don't follow baseball. And to not offer too many remarks myself. Got some good photos of people very happy to be at the meeting, though!

Odd meeting. First one several of us did on our own since my former boss went back to teaching, but we learned a lot.

Chance of rain this weekend. I hope so! I'll happily work indoors if rain will soothe my out-of-doors.
